As a workaround, use a 3rd party software media player to playback DVDs. • Applications from the original Sound Blaster Audigy CD will not work with this download on Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Click to download the latest applications that are available for your product. • Users are advised to use Audio Console included in this download to change speaker configurations. • Gameport is not supported in Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.

• 6.1 speaker mode is not supported by Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Take time to let us know if the suggestion worked.or not.

Hi guys, My Windows XP SP3 machine ran my Audigy2 (basic) card just fine. I upgraded the Operating System to Windows 7 Ultimate, downloaded the driver for Audigy 2 card from Creative site and multiple different locations and ended up with the same result.

'unable to detect a supported product on your system' It's a shame because the card is fine for what I need it for, it registers as 'High Definition Audio Device' in device manager but.has no sound Double click on the exe and I get the 'unable to detect a supported product on your system' message Any suggestions most welcome.and by the way: I've uninstalled drivers / reinstalled Switched PCI slots Cleaned and tested the card in a different system etc I just cant get it going in Windows 7.arghhh! All, I know your answers of all about the 'Audigy 2 ZS PlatinumPro' card, I've use this for so long. Basically This card (specially first edition 880 or similar something) is so sensetive and little connection weak. That's why sometime not detected by windows, so try many times to put into the PCI slot to the final detect. Then check into the 'device manager'.

If it shown 'Multimedia Audio Controller' so ur card is properly fit into MOB..or it it doesn't show something like 'multimedia.' So I think ur card is not properly installed into the MOB..then try again then install the Web update version of drive first..then try to the CD (but this time don't install the windows driver files). And I wanna say something about the Creative that the 'Web support' of Creative is really SUCK!!!! Very bad..they support only the basic driver only (not functional support like EQ, THX. I think the good idea is Web driver and CD driver is work together well thanks to all.

This Program Has Compatibility Issues Windows 8 Kaspersky more. What worked for me (in Windows 7 Ultimate and XP (on the SP updates if the card failed) was to remove the card and clear BIOS (removing the battery works best). Reset BiOS to what you had before but without the soundcard installed and boot up into Windows. Check that Windows device manager is clear of all Audigy2 references and remove any Creative leftovers if the drivers still show in Add/Remove programs. Now reinstall the soundcard and make sure it is recognised by Windows the instance the machine is booted - normally via the hardware install app that Windows runs when it finds something new. If you do not get that then the card is either not fitted correctly or there is a conflict with another card or device.
